We’ve asked some of our wonderful visitors to share their experiences and photos from their time with us, and w’d love you to take a look!

Meet Charlotte and David
Charlotte and David were celebrating their anniversary with a weekend away, and chose to spend Saturday afternoon with us (resulting in some truly splendid pottery). Here’s what they have to say:
"The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and the studio provided a great atmosphere to paint in, stocked with more tools than you could imagine! Definitely the best pottery painting studio we have ever visited, and will be back if we are ever near Tenbury Wells again!”
If, like Charlotte and David, you’re only in the area for the weekend, it doesn’t need stop you from painting pottery! We can post your pottery back to you, after it’s been fired. (Which gives you something to look forward to once your holiday is over!)
Meet the James Family
Louis and Phoebe wanted to make a special plate for their Grandfather’s 70th Birthday, so their Mum, Laura, booked them in for a Pitter Potter printing session! Here’s how it went:
“Pitter Potter Tenbury Wells were amazing; we sat and chatted through ideas and the team spent time getting to know us so they could design the perfect plate! The turnaround was quite tight and the they were so brilliant at accommodating that! The children really wanted a fishing-themed plate that included all of their grandfather’s favourite things. When it was finished, it was exactly how we pictured it, and absoutely beautiful. Thank you!”
If, like Laura, you need your commission pottery finished by a certain date - just let us know! We can fast-track special pieces to the front of the queue, to ensure your pottery gets to its recipient on time.
Meet Lydia and Friends
After we hosted a 7th Birthday Party for her daughter, Lydia and her fellow Mums decided they wanted a go! With the Dads on childcare duty, all eight lovely ladies paid us a visit and got creative. Here’s what Lydia has to say:
“Claire, Louise and the team were brilliant hosts, providing clear instructions to help the group - especially with the splatter technique! There was so much to choose from, and the array of gorgeous colours and decor just made us all happy. Now we’re hooked!”

Meet Courtney and Elodie
Courtney and Elodie came to visit us during Half Term Wildlife Week for a bit of Mum-and-daughter chill time. Not only did they have a great experience painting, they also got to try our Wildlife Quiz! (And tell us all about the baby robin in their garden). Look at the delightful things they have to say!

We know it’s hard travelling with a large group, so we offer the option of bringing the creativity to you. We visit schools, holiday cottages, village halls, and more - all you have to worry about is choosing what to paint!

It all depends on what you paint. We don’t believe in charging people to sit down, so there’s no studio fee. Our pottery ranges from £6.00-£60.00, with most things falling between £12.00-£25.00. If you’re booking a party or large group, there will be a small additional cost, depending on which group package you choose. Find out more on our ‘Painting, Printing, Prices’ page!

We think it’s a good idea: there’s nothing worse than turning up and finding us full! On a quiet day, you’ll probably be fine, but booking is really easy. Just give us a ring on the number below, send us a message or drop us an email.

There isn’t one! We print the feet of week-old babies, welcome painters in their 90s, and everything in-between. It’s a common misconception to say it’s ‘just for children’. Pottery painting is for everyone, and we know you’ll love it too!

The wait time for collecting your pottery is usually between 10-14 days. During exceptionally busy periods (looking at you, school holidays!) it can be up to a month. If you need your pottery back for a specific date, let us know and we can fast-track it. If you’ve commissioned a piece of artwork, the wait time can be up to eight weeks, unless you specify a deadline. We understand how hard it is to wait for your pottery to be ready, but remember that we are working as quickly as we can, and need time to ensure your pottery comes back to you in tip-top condition!

Not us personally, but if you put the postcode WR15 8SF into your satnav, it’ll take you straight to the swimming pool carpark, where you can park for as long as you like. (Bonus: it’s free!)

Never fear! We will always try to fire your pottery within a few days, so you may still be able to pick it up. If not, we’re very happy to post your pottery to you at home. (You will have to pay for the postage though).

Very! There are no steps up to the studio, and we’ve got room to park your pushchair. Wheelchair users are also very welcome, but it’s a good idea to let us know beforehand, so that we can find you the best table. We don’t have a disabled toilet, but you’ll find one in the library, just across the road. If you have a special requirement (such as turning off the music), let us know. We always do everything we can to make your visit enjoyable.

Hop over to the ‘Join the Fun’ page of the website, and you’ll find some very useful directionsDon’t worry! We’re very happy to keep your pottery safe until you have time to come back and finish off. There’s no limit on how long you can leave your pottery before coming back, and no limit on how many extra sessions you need, but we do have to charge a £4.00 finishing-off fee.

We most certainly do! They’re available in any value, and have no expiration date. There are a few more details you need to know, though, so pop onto the 'Painting, Printing, Prices’ page and you’ll find all the info there!

As long as you need it to! We’re happy for you to stay up to our 4:00pm closing time, and you can pop in and out as many times as you want during your session. On very busy days, we may have to limit you to two hours, but we’ll always let you know if that’s the case.

We’re open on Thursdays in the school holidays, with the exception of the six-week Summer Holiday and we’re ALWAYS open on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. If you’re planning a big special event, and want to bring a large group to paint, then we can open for you on a Thursday or Sunday. Just make sure your group has at least 16 people in it, and contact us well in advance.

That’s not a great idea, by our experience. Technically it is dishwasher safe, but it may well get damaged or take on water, and that would be a shame after all the work you put it. And definitely don’t put it in the microwave, it won’t like that at all…

You can! If your dog is happy to sit quietly by your feet and won’t bother the other customers, you’re welcome to bring them along: you can even book an appointment to make some paw-print pottery!

We’re sorry, but no - we don’t have anything to do with wet clay. If you’re looking for potter’s wheel courses, or something similar; we recommend contacting Eastnor Pottery, in Lebury. They’re experts in that department!

Paint and peanut butter sandwiches aren’t a great mix, so we don’t serve any food. However, you’re very welcome to bring a packed lunch and eat it during your session. If you forgot your sandwiches, we’re happy to point you to one of Tenbury’s great cafés or restaurants. We do serve hot and soft drinks at our Friday Night Paint ’Til Late session, but outside of those times, you’re welcome to bring your own. The only thing we can’t have in the studio is alcohol, so save the bubbles for later!

We most certainly do! We also take cash, so it’s up to you. The only kind of card we cannot accept is American Express (sorry!)

We love those! Whether you want to book a pottery party; ask about studio hire or commission your perfect wedding china; you can do it by phoning us up, sending an email or popping in to ask in person.
